The world of sneaker collabs is admittedly difficult to keep track of these days, with new partnerships forming each week. Likewise, many of these releases are nearly impossible to nab upon their initial run, forcing many fans to seek the secondary market. As a global commerce leader that connects millions of buyers and sellers, eBay has become a dominant force in the world of sneakers, with its collectible sneaker hub a go-to for sneakerheads everywhere. Here, we’ve given you a list of our favorite collaborations in recent years, all of which you can find sold on eBay.
New Balance x Stone Island 574 Legacy
By now, New Balance has shaken its “dad shoe” reputation, in part thanks to a string of high-profile collaborations, including ones with Italian clothier Stone Island. Earlier this year, the brand took NB’s most wearable silhouette, the 574 Legacy, and gave it a more technical touch, with upgrades to the materials and a military-inspired colorway.
Atmos x Salomon XT-6 “Stars Collide”
A few months back, Salomon readied its 2023 collaborative lineup with atmos with a new version of its XT-6 lifestyle runners inspired by the night sky. The surprisingly subtle silhouette features atmos branding below the single-layer mesh upper, a starry motif that pays homage to the brand’s earlier styles, and a speckled Contagrip outsole.
Oakley Factory Team x Brain Dead Chop Saw
Although it’s known mainly for its performance sunglasses, Oakley’s Chop Saw footwear lineup has grown tremendously popular in recent vintage. Its recent collaboration with Brain Dead saw an updated version of a design from two decades ago, featuring a ribbed rubber sole, suede uppers, and neoprene accents.
Reebok x Eames Fiberglass Pack
Eames’ iconic fiberglass armchair from the 1950s was revolutionary in that it was the first single-piece plastic seat produced commercially for the public. Last year, Reebok decided to partner with the furniture brand on a special version of its Classic Leather sneakers, featuring a leather design meant to imitate the straw-like feel of fiberglass.
Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog
Salehe Bembury has been called the greatest living shoe designer, and in 2021, he put his mark on Crocs with the Pollex Clog. Featuring a trio of his signature “fingerprint” motif, the shoes sport multidirectional ridges underneath for traction, adjustable heel straps for wearing them two different ways, and meticulously placed holes for breathability in high-heat areas.
Donald Glover x New Balance RC30 Sneaker
You may know Donald Glover as the multi-hyphenate entertainer, but last year, the actor-comedian-rapper gave us his take on the New Balance RC30 racing runners. Available in either “Sea Salt” or “Golden Hour” colorways, the shoes collide the rippled tread outsole of the Trackster silhouette with luxurious suede overlays up top.
Nike x Stüssy Air Max 2013
Last year, Nike tapped the West Coast staple Stüssy to help bring back the Air Max 2013 silhouette. Released in “Fossil Bone,” “Psychic Pink,” and “Black” colorways, these revival shoes didn’t change a whole lot in 9 years but gave us an inverted Swoosh and some Stüssy branding.
Crocs x Beams Outdoor Military Clogs
We all know Crocs’ prowess when it comes to style and comfort, but with the collaboration with Beams back in 2022, it entered the realm of utility. Tailor-made for the outdoors, these all-terrain Clogs have rugged outsoles, MOLLE webbing, and buckled storage pouches.
Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2
In just four years, New Balance’s string of collaborative releases with Teddy Santis’ Aime Leon Dore is the stuff of legend. One of the more recent team-ups was on the former’s 860 runners, retaining many of the performance brand’s tech while putting its own stamp on the silhouette, including some nods to the Queens borough in New York.
