Each month we take a look at Nike’s latest releases and continue to be impressed with how they continue to churn out classic after classic. For July, we have a camo Calm, a military-surplus-inspired sneaker, and a revival of the Air Max Uptempo ‘95. Here are our favorite Nike shoes out right now.

Nike Calm RealTree

Nike Calm RealTree F 7 25

For nearly 40 years, RealTree has been a leader in the camo industry, outfitting hunters all over the country with realistic patterns that mimic foliage in the wild. The company has now joined forces with Nike to dress a pair of its Calm sandals, bringing an entirely new vibe to the recovery slide. These are still the same clogs you know and love, with minimal construction featuring a single piece of contoured foam, a textured footbed to keep your feet from moving around, and a grippy outsole so you can feel confident wearing these on outdoor terrains. And of course, you still get the adjustable heel strap that locks in your foot.

Nike C1TY “Surplus”

Nike C1TY Surplus F 7 25

Nike has been making fans happy since debuting its C1TY model last year, blending the low-profile simplicity of a Dunk with a rugged, over-engineered edge. For its latest iteration, the company has dropped the sneaker in the aptly named “Surplus” colorway, featuring shades of army green, bringing the spirit of tactical surplus clothing to the world of streetwear. Breathable thanks to the mesh fabric, the uppers are then contrasted with thick, reinforced sides and toe box. Meanwhile, the bottom features a dual-stiffness waffle outsole with grippy rubber lugs.

Nike SB Zoom Nyjah 4

Nike SB Zoom Nyjah 4 F 7 25

There’s no denying that Nike has sneakily become one of the finest designers of skateboarding shoes around. Cleaning things up from the previous iteration of Nyjah Huston’s signature sneaker, the eponymous Nyjah 4 removes the topside perforations and brings a more classic tongue structure this time around. The traction patter underneath has also been updated on the HART (High Abrasion Rubber Tech) outsoles, using less rubber compound while maintaining durability when shredding. The rubber material gives you some extra protection in the mudguard area as well, which adds a unique flair to the overall presentation.

Nike Air Max Uptempo ’95

Nike Air Max Uptempo 95 F 7 25

Nike is bringing back an absolute classic with the Air Max Uptempo 95s — the first sneakers with a full-length visible Air Max unit when they debuted. The high-tops are coming back for Nike’s annual “NY vs NY” streetball tournament in the Black/Orion Blue colorway you see here, which is decidedly ‘90s with its 3D Swoosh effect, glossy black detailing for plenty of visual contrast, and a tinted blue Air unit underneath.

Nike Air Max Dn8 “Sundial”

Nike Air Max Dn8 Sundial F 7 25

Named after the set of eight Dynamic Air pods spanning the full length of the sneaker, the Air Max Dn8 feels like it’s something from both the future and also the early-’00s when aerodynamics were all the rage in footwear. The pods are designed with tuned pressure levels so that each tube responds to compression differently for an optimized energy return and cushioning. Just when the summer is really heating up, Nike drops a “Sundial” variant of its popular new running shoe with orange uppers reminiscent of the literal sun.
