Scoured: The 7 Best Nike Sneakers You Can Buy in January 2026

Nike 100 SOV January 2026 0 Hero

Nike Logo 1

Whether you’re looking for running shoes or lifestyle sneaker, or everything in between, Nike proves time and time again that it’s simply the most versatile footwear brand on the planet. This month, we want to highlight the best of the Swoosh’s latest catalog of shoes. These are our favorite sneakers available in January.

Nike Killshot 2 Premium

Nike Killshot 2 LTR PRM F 1 26

Originally launched in 1979, the Killshot served as a court shoe for racquetball and squash, with a low-profile design and mesh upper perfect for on-court agility. Today, original Killshots can fetch hundreds of dollars on eBay. Nike was paying attention to consumer demand and, back in 2009, reissued the Killshot to much acclaim. These latest renditions are the most elevated version we’ve seen so far, featuring glossy premium leather and detachable fold-over tongue flaps for a retro-meets-modern aesthetic.

Nike LD-1000 SE “LNY”

Nike LD 1000 SE LNY F 1 26

Lots of brands have been dropping their own product variants to celebrate the Lunar New Year’s Year of the Horse for 2026. But Nike may have taken the crown with its set of releases. Our favorite in the set is this very red pair of LD-1000s, giving the legendary ‘70s-era marathon runners a furry red upper designed to look a bit worn and a white Swoosh that’s been embroidered with a flying horse design.

Nike Dunk Low Retro SE Moon Particle

Nike Dunk Low Retro SE Moon Particle F 1 26

You can’t go wrong with a solid pair of Dunks — and Nike has plenty of those. This month, we were really into the Dunk Low Retro SE in this Moon Particle colorway, nailing the lunar aesthetic with gray uppers in a true mixed-material display. The main wrap is presented in textured leather and woven fabric, while rattan weave is subtly implemented below the collar at the heel and on the tongue.

Nike ACG Phassad Bold Berry

Nike ACG Phassad Purple F 1 26

Last year, Nike resurrected the fan-favorite Phassad trail runner from 2003 as part of its outdoor-focused ACG line. So far, we’ve seen neutral or earthy tones like gray or green, perhaps with touches of bright hues. However, this new variant in Bold Berry is the most expressive we’ve seen so far, ensuring you’re the loudest person on the trail. This is still the same Phassad we love, with a synthetic leather upper with a shroud inspired by tent flaps, able to buckle down before heading on your run or hike. You also get an Air midsole cushioning and a rugged rubber outsole that will keep you stable on different terrains.

Nike Air Max ’95 G

Nike Air Max 95 G F 1 26

Fresh off its 30th-anniversary year, the iconic Air Max 95 has now been reworked for the golf course. The main difference here are the new sticky rubber lugs underneath for gripping the fairway. However, this is AM95 through and through, with the layered upper of mesh and synthetic leather and the locked-in laces for quickly personalizing your fit — now on the links. We particularly love this new “Miami Vice” variant you see here.

Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro Flight Club

Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro Flight Club F 1 26

In the ‘80s and ‘90s, Nike had a popular mail-in membership program called Flight Club (now defunct). Still true to Tinker Hatfield’s original design, the new Air Jordan 4s pay homage with a special colorway in Sail white with red accents. Meanwhile, Flight Club logos can be seen on the top of the tongue and printed on the insole, with additional stitching on the mudguard.

Nike Mind 001

Nike Mind 001 Smoke Grey F 1 26

Honorable Mention: Nike broke the mold (and the internet) when it announced the release of the new Mind 001 recovery slide. It’s their latest push into post-workout footwear, packing sculptural molded foam and orange grip pods for targeted recovery. Futuristic enough to wear outside the gym (which is kinda the point), the slippers don’t look like recovery gear. However, at under $100, these sold out very quickly, but you can expect Nike to drop plenty more colorways in the coming months.
