Nike Logo 1

Pretty much everyone is familiar with the impressive range that made Nike a legend in the footwear space. Originally planting their roots in the running shoe space, the brand has become dominant in many other categories throughout the years. Below are among our favorite sneakers currently in Nike’s lineup, featuring shoes for the trail, the sidewalk, and more.

Nike Savaleos

Nike Savaleos F 8 25

We don’t cover a lot of weightlifting shoes, but the Savaleos deserve some love. Some might prefer the flagship Romaleos but we personally think the underappreciated Savaleos deserve your attention. Stunning in this “Photon Dust/Anthracite/Metallic Silver” colorway, the shoes give you plenty of stability when doing squats or sweeps, with the strap across the top that makes sure your foot isn’t lifting up. Meanwhile, the raised heel gives you that extra power you need towards the end of your sets.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Oil Grey/Cave Stone/Arctic Punch/White”

Air Jordan 1 Low SE F 8 25

It could be seen as somewhat unprecedented for Nike to recognize the burgeoning sneaker scene in the mid-’80s and offer a low-top, everyday version of their iconic Air Jordan high-tops. And we don’t have to tell you how legendary the AJ1 Lows have been in their own right, with virtually endless variants over the years. What sold us on the above model was the green soles, pushing the multi-colored theming to its absolute limit. Labeled as “Oil Grey/Cave Stone/Arctic Punch/White,” we’ve been calling this colorway “Quilt” around the office.

Nike Air Max Goadome

Air Max Goadome F 8 25

Nike sought to make their own Timberland rival about 25 years ago, and the result was the cult favorite ACG Goadome with its gum rubber sole, aggressive tread, and padded collar. Now part of the Air Max series, the Goadome has been revived with some tough military styling in olive for the perforated upper. The town-to-trail boots are given minimal branding with a small Swoosh on the side, but these are undoubtedly Nike with the series of Air units underfoot and the cushiony foam midsole.

Nike Shox Ride 2 Bright Cactus and Black

Nike Shox Ride 2 Bright Cactus and Black F 8 25

Following its series of denim-dressed sneakers in recent months, Nike revives their ‘00s-era Shox Ride 2 but with a twist. The brand turns its everyday technical shoe into a premium sneaker evocative of a cactus by putting a bright green color on the shaggy denim uppers. Still as springy as ever, the walking shoes give you ample support throughout a long day and even the Shox units under the heel buy into the theming with their neon green color.

Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Halo”

Kobe 3 Protro Halo F 8 25

Coined by the legend himself, the “Protro” monicker (a portmanteau of “prototype” and “retro”) has been a way to blend the styling of original retro sneakers with modern-day tech for the reissue. Now, for the first time, the Kobe 3s — worn by Bryant during his 2007 MVP season — have been given the tag. Updated with a Cushion 3.0 foam underfoot, improved traction, and more breathable mesh and tongue padding, the revised sneaker drops in this “Halo” colorway. Nevertheless, it still retains the same diamond pattern on the upper, which is a nod to Kobe’s oldest daughter whose middle name is Italian for “diamond”.

Nike Air Max 1000 “Oat”

Air Max 1000 Oat F 8 25

Honorable Mention: Nike has been making major waves in the past couple of months with their first-ever 3D-printed sneaker, the Air Max 1000. Given an exclusive drop in red, the sneaker has now come out in all-black and the Oat colorway you see here. About 3.5oz lighter than your standard Air Max, the shoe is made of zellerFOAM TPU using Zellerfeld’s proprietary printing process and blends different patterns across the beige shoe — save for an orange Air Max unit visible at the heel. We have these as an honorable mention since they’re unfortunately already sold out.
