However, thanks to a new innovation from YKK, we might soon be able to normalize the idea of fixing these pesky things ourselves.
Leave it to the biggest zipper firm in the world to create such an innovation. For the first time ever, thanks to YKK’s Revived technology, the user can easily repair the zipper, whether he’s at home or out on a hike, by removing the slider from the top stop in a zig-zag pattern.
Just like it was with the TouchLink and PU Conceal zipper technologies, Colorado-based outdoor gear brand ARTILECT has become the first to claim the application of YKK’s new zippers on its products. The first two garments to get the Revived zipper are the High AF Parka down jacket and the Formation 3L Shell waterproof jacket.
