SlideBelts Survival Belt

Is it time to demand more from your belt? What’s that thing do anyway, besides hold up your pants? Heck, your girlfriend can do that (if you find the right one).

SlideBelts is offering belts and buckles that can do way more than match your shoes. It all starts with the holeless design, as the small tab in the buckle engages with “teeth” on the bottom of the strap, kinda like a zip tie. So right away there’s 30 distinct size positions at 1/4″ intervals and no wear and tear like a traditional leather belt would see. The strap is said to be waterproof, abrasion-resistant, and UV protected. But then, the fun comes in. There’s a bottle opener in the buckle, and if this Kickstarter project hits its stretch goals, you’ll have the option to buy a belt with a built-in multi-tool, fire starter, and GPS chip, so your lady can know where you are at all times. Wait a second… [Purchase]
