We’re no stranger to seeing high-end performance labels join forces for the greater good, and running enthusiasts should be especially excited about a new collab from two outstanding boutique running labels. French standout Satisfy and Canadian shoe brand Norda have just joined forces, with the former putting a spin on the latter’s technical 001 trail running shoes.

The unique take on the Bio-Dyneema-crafted silhouette is dubbed the “Peace & Silence 001,” with its re-imagined ‘Jadeite’ colorway putting a focal point on the serenity of nature.  Moreover, the Parisian performance label figured it was only fitting that its first shoe would come from a brand that puts these same elements at the forefront. The shoe is rounded out with reflective details for heightened visibility and additional embellishments, including Satisfy’s peace sign logo. Lastly, the shoe’s respective aglets read “Peace” and “Silence.”

As far as performance is concerned, the trail running shoes sit on a Vibram-engineered midsole and Norda’s proprietary sole plate, the latter of which implements Vibram Megagrip to assure maximum traction when tackling unpredictable trails, be it wet or dry. The Canadian shoemaker’s signature sole maximizes energy output while staying light, as it sheds 30% of the overall sole weight. All in all, the uber-sturdy running shoe maintains its athletic integrity through this cosmetic makeover.

If you’re interested in picking up Satisfy’s collab with Norda, sign up for early access on the former’s website. The Peace & Silence 001 is slated to release on July 21.
