We’ve heard of racing companies bringing their expertise from the track to the road, but never in the form of a scooter. Today, Red Bull Racing debuted its F1-inspired eScooter, dubbed RBS#01, with plenty of championship pedigree behind it.

With design cues similar to the brand’s Formula One vehicles, the RBS#01 sports a black body with a red stripe along the side. However, the most notable aspect is the single-sided swing arm on the front and rear wheels like a race car, compared to a typical scooter swing arm that would connect to the wheel from both sides. Designed and tested to withstand 3Gs of load, the body itself is made from a super lightweight carbon fiber that allows the eScooter to weigh just under 51lbs.

Powered by a 50.4V battery, the RBS#01 has an output of 700W, 59lb.ft of torque, and a 37-mile range. The beefy tires are built from soft compound intermediates, giving the eScooter unbelievable stability when turning, maximum traction on different terrains, and a maximum climb angle of 25 degrees.

Also equipped with an integrated LED headlight and LCD cockpit display, Red Bull Racing’s RBS#01 eScooter is now available for $6,000.
