Nothing’s Phone (1) Is Finally Available In the States

Thanks to its edgy campaigning and innovative design, Nothing’s Phone (1) has garnered headlines since being announced last summer. After half a year of overseas exclusivity, the London-bred tech boutique is offering a beta membership for patrons interested in testing the smartphone “at its most advanced,” now powered by Android 13’s latest OS 1.5.

Members who choose to sign up for this unique opportunity will receive a 128-gig model of the Snapdragon-operated device in addition to a Nothing Community Black Dot NFT. The Black Dot is accessible using Nothing’s Discord server and will provide subscribers with early access to any future offers from the brand, all of which are bound to prove just as popular as the earbuds and smartphone. Best of all, you don’t have to worry about sending the Phone (1) back after the beta program ends on June 30, as it is yours to keep.

Further, Nothing makes it clear that these models will only operate with some US carriers. On that note, it is operable with T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T, but there will be limitations placed on the latter two companies, as Verizon and AT&T users will be limited to 4G speeds considering 5G bands are not supported. Moreover, T-Mobile does offer 5G support, allowing customers to take full advantage of the subscription.

Sign up for the Nothing OS 1.5 Beta Membership for $299 on the brand’s website.
