As one of the world’s most renowned architectural firms, it’s safe to say that Zaha Hadid Architects has the Midas touch. Its latest robust project comes courtesy of a partnership with yacht builder Rossinavi to design a jaw-dropping catamaran that is geared toward protecting the planet — while also looking fantastic.
The Oneiric catamaran boasts three levels of solar panels, paving the way for sun-powered, fully-electric navigation in an effort to reduce energy consumption with every trip. This falls in line with the Italian vessel manufacturer’s aim for sustainability, as the yacht is capable of cruising in full-electric mode with zero emissions while keeping things quiet, so your seafaring venture will remain tranquil. It also features an AI-driven control center that accounts for an abundance of elements, including battery status and environmental situations to maximize efficiency.
As far as its design is concerned, the Oneiric catamaran looks as incredible as its specs would imply, boasting furniture and decor crafted from fully recycled materials, right down to the chairs in its surfeit of lounges. In addition to an array of seating areas and dining sections, the vessel features a quartet of cabins for guests, four more for crew members, and a grand owner’s suite. For entertainment purposes, it even features a luxurious media center, a swim platform with seamless access to the sea, and an additional outdoor lounge.
While you can’t take this build out to sea just yet, the Oneiric will be on full display at the Superdesign Show in Milan between June 6 and 12.
