If you thought the regular Nevera R was rare with its 40-unit production run, Rimac just upped the ante. The Croatian hypercar maker has unveiled the Nevera R Founder’s Edition, limited to just ten examples worldwide – and every single one sold out within a week of being quietly shown to select clients earlier this year.
And this isn’t just about owning one of the rarest electric hypercars on the planet. The Founder’s Edition is giving buyer’s exclusive access into Rimac’s inner circle in a way that no amount of regular wealth can replicate.

Access All Areas
Each Founder’s Edition owner receives a company card that grants direct access to Bugatti Rimac headquarters in Zagreb. And this isn’t for your run of the mill tour, but rather permanent access, whenever they want. They get priority invitations to product previews before the public (or even the press) sees them, front-row seats to record-breaking runs, and perhaps most intriguingly, involvement in actual strategy and R&D discussions with Mate Rimac and his team.
As Rimac’s press release puts it, these ten individuals will have “input into the research and development that will create the groundbreaking cars of the future.” Owners are essentially being granted a consultancy role in shaping what comes next from one of the most innovative automotive companies on Earth. An interesting (and perhaps risky?) approach.

The Configuration Experience
Buying a Founder’s Edition is more of an experience than a transaction. New owners will start their purchase journey at Rimac’s campus in Zagreb, where each owner sits down with Mate Rimac himself alongside Design Director Frank Heyl to configure their car. And they’re not just picking from preset options here. They’re using real-time VRED visualization software to tweak colors, materials, and finishes on the fly, creating something that’s truly one-of-one.
The baseline spec centers on a two-tone design that uses the car’s natural body lines as the color split, visually lowering the already ground-hugging hypercar and giving it an even more aggressive stance. Running along the roof is an absurdly thin center stripe—just two millimeters at its narrowest point—featuring Rimac’s signature cravat motif and circuit board graphics.

Inside, the asymmetrical seat layout mirrors Mate’s personal Nevera configuration with includes hand-stitched interiors and door panel embroidery marking three distinct dates in Rimac’s history: the garage era, the Concept_One launch, and the record-breaking Nevera period.

The Performance Part
Underneath all the exclusivity, you’re still getting the full 2,107-horsepower Nevera R experience which includes four electric motors with Rimac’s advanced torque vectoring system, a 0-60 mph time of 1.66 seconds, and a top speed of 268.2 mph. In 2025 alone, the Nevera R set 24 verified performance world records, and Mate Rimac famously claimed it’s the only car in the world that accelerates faster than it brakes.
Each Founder’s Edition owner also receives professional driver training from Rimac’s testing team. And when the car is finally ready for delivery, Mate personally hands over the keys and supports the training process.
