NOVITEC’s 885-HP Tuned McLaren 765LT Spider Does 0-60 in 2.5 Seconds

After previously releasing a high-performance upgrade kit for McLaren’s 765LT back in early 2021, elite German tuning outfit NOVITEC has now set its sights on the Spider version of the British-built supercar, taking the 765LT’s already impressive performance to new heights.

In typical NOVITEC fashion, the German supercar specialists have engineered a variety of upgrades for the 765LT, including N-TRONIC and Stage 1 and Stage 2 NOVITEC ECUs and, ceramic-coated turbo inlet pipes, race-spec headers, mid-pipes, and multiple tailpipes. Together, these up-specced components bump the car’s power output up to 855hp and 662.3ft-lbs of torque — a major bump over the 755hp and 590ft-lbs produced by the stock twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 (which is the same mill used in the 720S). And while the 765LT’s top speed remains at around 205mph, the upgrades to the engine have brought its 0-60mph time down to 2.5 seconds — from an already extremely quick 2.7 seconds.

It doesn’t end there, however, as NOVITEC has also introduced several additional performance upgrades to help compensate for the state-of-the-art supercar’s increased power and speed such as 20” and 21” forged center-lock-look MC3 wheels and numerous upgraded suspension components including a Sport Spring Set and aluminum spacers. What’s more, NOVITEC’s in-house team has also designed a slew of carbon fiber parts and aero elements that are offered in traditional woven versions as well as forged carbon fiber variants.

The NOVITEC McLaren 765LT Spider upgrades are available now either as a kit or as standalone, a la carte items. For pricing or additional information, you can visit the tuning shop’s website.
