Truck campers don’t need to be complicated. However, for Kyle Hart, founder of Lone Peak, they should be safe and secure enough. He launched his company a few months ago after his rooftop tent and rack got stolen right off his truck on a camping trip last year.
Swearing to fix this very real problem, Kyle set out to make the Lone Peak Camper, which has security in its DNA. Combining the robustness of a slide-in hard-shell camper with a rooftop tent, the lockable waterproof unit is also quite affordable. Featuring three large windows so you can take in the scenery around you, the pop-up tent sets up in under a minute and has incredible interior space thanks to a high elevation angle and the integrated rear rain guard.
Underneath, 32” of pass-through gives you ample space for storage or hanging out. Likewise, the lofted bed lifts up entirely so you can use your truck bed as a truck bed. Customization options include gear vaults, an indoor fold-down table, LED lighting, grab handles, ladders, load bars, and even a solar panel wiring port.
Compatible with dozens of models from seven major brands, the Lone Peak Camper is now available to reserve for $5,995, with deliveries expected for next July.
