Based in Graz, Vagabund Moto is a world-renowned, Austrian custom motorcycle shop with a major proclivity for wrenching on BMW bikes — as evidenced by the majority of its builds beginning life as a model from the Bavarian bike-maker. As such, it only seemed natural that BMW Motorrad would eventually tap Vagabund for an official factory-backed custom commission — a joint effort that’s just been unveiled in the form of the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept.

Representing Vagabund’s second-ever full electric build — after its recent KTM Freeeride E-XC-based project — the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept was designed to make the scooter even more conducive to urban use. Initially known as the Link Scooter Concept when first breaking cover back in 2017, BMW’s CE 04 production electric scooter was utilized as the basis of the latest Vagabund build.

The right side of the scooter has received a surfboard rack set on custom brackets. Vagabund has also bestowed the front of the electric two-wheeler with a custom offset Vagabund auxiliary light that’s been capped off with a transparent orange cover with a smiley face cutout while the aft-end of the machine has been fitted with a tail-mounted Pelican 1600 Protector Case. The concept’s finishing touch is a custom white, dark green, beige, and black livery complemented via a transparent orange windscreen and a half-smiley face on the build’s front wheel disc insert.

Though BMW Motorrad and Vagabund Moto have yet to announce any future collaborations, we seriously hope this isn’t the last joint-effort we see from this Austri-Bavarian duo.
