Bentley’s bucket-list-worthy travel program, Extraordinary Journeys, has consistently offered the marque’s purest enthusiasts an opportunity to take in all the beauty our planet has to offer. Unsurprisingly, its latest set of ventures aims to provide no less of an experience, with this year’s trio of destinations being Scandinavia, New Mexico, and, of course, the U.K.
Starting off locally, the New Mexico Extraordinary Journey spans between May 11 and 14, highlighting the rugged terrain of New Mexico en route to showcase the deep heritage found in the state’s bounty of Indigenous art and culture. Things kick off when those wheels touch the tarmac at Santa Fe or Albuquerque airport, as a Bentley VIP team will drive you to the Bishops Lodge, a desolate oasis that proves your next vacation doesn’t have to be a tourist hotspot. This primarily auto-focused adventure allows those involved to helm the wheel of a Bentayga EWB for several scenic drives but also invite them for an enriching visit to Georgia O’ Keefe’s home and personal studio, proving you never know what you’re in for here.
As for the Scandinavia itinerary, it will run on two occasions: one between August 28 through September 1 and the other from September 18-22. After arriving in Stockholm, a Bentley will transport you to Ett Hem, a luxurious hotel filled with wellness spaces and homemade pastries. In the days that follow, patrons will visit the Nature House, an innovative, sustainable greenhouse, sleep at remarkable lodges and resorts, revel in iconic design elements at the Danish Architecture Center, and so much more. Moving on to the U.K. program, which offers a quartet of windows, all of which range between the summer months of July and Summer. Of course, it only makes sense to kick things off at the marque’s CW1 House showroom, where those lucky enough will be able to have dinner in the Bentley factory and bask in the meticulous manufacturing process. This is followed by a night-long stay at the Middleton Lodge, a trip to The Macallan’s Distillery in Scotland, and, presumably, days’ worth of British afternoon tea.
