BradBuilds Turns Audi’s e-tron GT Into A Slammed Hoonigan Racer For Ken Block

After spending 11-years with Ford Performance, drift and rally legend Ken Block announced that he would be parting ways with the Blue Oval in early 2021, and after a brief period as a free agent, the celebrity wheelman revealed that he’d inked a deal with Audi. And though the German automaker has yet to reveal its first specially-prepped race vehicle for Block, the news of his signing with Audi has inspired noted concept artist BradBuilds to conjure up his own take on a Hoonigan-spec Audi e-tron GT.

When designing the conceptual e-tron for Block, the LA-based designer and concept artist followed similar design cues to Ken’s previous Hoonigan rides, bestowing the electric grand tourer with a slammed and widened stance and aggressive, flared bodywork. This includes a largely revised front-end with a custom lip and a markedly larger grille arrangement, bespoke side skirts, a one-off rear diffuser, a pronounced triple vertical fin rear splitter, and massively flared wheel arches to accommodate the rally car’s widened stance. In fact, aside from the hood and exterior door panels, almost the entirety of the e-tron GT’s bodywork has been substantially tweaked. Completing the package is a set of blacked-out Black Rhino Shredder hard alloy wheels shod in TOYO all-terrain rubber, with the only thing now missing being an elaborate livery and presumably a few Monster Energy and TOYO Tire logos.

While BradBuilds’ concept looks great, it makes us all the more excited to see the first Audi racer built specifically for Block to hoon. And, considering that Ken Block won the first-ever all-electric World Rallycross Race last year, we have high hopes for what the Long Beach native will do behind the wheel of a custom-built Audi.
