Part yacht, part tender, A-Line Marine’s Aero 45 boat may deceive even the most fervent nautical enthusiasts. At first glance, the Swiss boatmaker’s newest creation might seem like just another RIB tender, but this 45-foot pocket yacht — or “luxury mega RIB” — has the comfort and luxury that boats this size just don’t come equipped with, such as a walk-around wet bar featuring a grill, burners, a sink, and a 130L fridge, all positioned so that the cook can operate in a teppanyaki-style manner without interfering with those eating.
The Aero 45 has an array of features that will make life at sea that much more enjoyable. Fit to comfortably accommodate up to ten passengers on its U-shaped couch alone, the main seating area is built with a floor that can be converted into a pair of interconnected tables for dining. In both of the two versions of the boat — inboard or outboard — the cabin can sleep two adults and two children, with a spacious bathroom and separate shower. All interior spaces are situated with large windows for lighting that make you feel like you’re lounging outside. There’s also ample room for water toys, such as jet skis and the like, onboard as well.
Every Aero 45 can be customized to the owner’s desires, including the addition of cockpit seats and a walk-around deck. Like most rigid inflatable boats, the Aero 45 is incredibly safe and agile. Made from aluminum, the hull is crafted to be fire-resistant, durable, and have a significant strength-to-weight ratio. Likewise, the side-forming air tubes absorb slamming when reaching top speed, prevent rolling, and reduce the water spray on deck.
A-Line Marine’s Aero 45 is not yet available to the public, but stay tuned to the company’s website for more information in the coming months.
