Supertramp has been building truck campers out of Golden, Colorado since 2017, and if you’ve been following them since the beginning, you know how far they’ve come. Keith and Kelsey Panich started the whole operation in their garage, and after pivoting to vacuum-infused composite construction — a move that’s become their calling card — they debuted the Flagship LT at Overland Expo Mountain West in 2021 and never really looked back. The Megatron followed, then the HT, and now the Golden team has unveiled the Paragon: an all-in-one truck-and-camper combo that borrows the best ideas from their flagship-level builds and brings the entry point down to Earth.

The Right Foundation
Supertramp builds their campers as integrated systems — the living module mounts directly to the chassis rather than dropping into the truck bed, which results in a far more structural, waterproof, and durable package over the long haul. The platform here is a Ford F-350 long-bed, available in single, extended, and crew cab configurations. It boasts a 7.3L Godzilla V8 engine with four-wheel drive, 10-speed TorqShift, rear locking differential, 18-inch Method wheels wrapped in 35-inch Toyo AT3 rubber, and Ford’s own camper package out of the box.
Rather than just spec’ing out a truck and calling it a day, Supertramp partnered with Carli — one of the more respected names in performance off-road suspension — to develop a Paragon-specific setup from scratch. The result is a custom-valved shock system paired with an Alcan leaf pack, tuned specifically for the camper’s weight and real-world use. Carli’s philosophy, “strong enough for Baja, tuned for the real world,” aligns well with what Supertramp is going for here: a rig that’s equally composed on the highway as it is off the grid.

The Shell Story
Supertramp’s whole identity is built around one-piece composite construction, and the Paragon is no different. There’s no wood in the structure, no trim pieces where water can infiltrate over time, and no seams holding the shell together at the corners. That one-piece approach has been the backbone of every Supertramp build since they figured out the vacuum-infusion process back in their Golden workshop, and the long-term benefits — structural integrity, weight management, weatherproofing — are real and measurable.

Inside the Box
With a full seven feet of standing height, a king-size bed under a stargazing skylight up front, and a rear dinette that converts three ways — classic U-shape, L-shaped couch, or full bed — the space will function well above its size. The wet bath is full and the kitchen comes equipped with an induction cooktop and a 130L Isotherm fridge/freezer. A 40-gallon fresh water tank and 10 gallons of grey water round things out.
Natural light was clearly a priority in the design. Panoramic dual-pane Arctic Tern windows line the interior, and with their three-position tilt system, cross-ventilation is totally possible here, especially with integrated bug screens and privacy shades. The cab-over also connects directly to the truck through a full walk-through passthrough, which is a game-changer for anyone who’s had it.

The Gear Garage & Off-Grid Setup
The internal gear garage is one of the Paragon’s standout features and one that Supertramp hasn’t shortchanged. It fits two full-size XL 29er mountain bikes inside — clean, protected, accessible from side doors on both sides — while keeping the rear receiver open for a trailer.
Off-grid power is spec’d well. Standard configuration includes 660W of Victron solar charging on the roof, 270Ah of Battle Born lithium (expandable to 1,080Ah), a 3,000W inverter, a 50A DC-DC charger (expandable to 100A), and a 100A Victron shore power charger. There’s also an optional solar blanket plug for when you need more than the roof panels can provide.
