When Ducati first dropped the Multistrada V4 Rally back in 2023, it was already a statement bike — the kind of machine that made you reconsider what an adventure tourer could be. Now, just three years later, the Italian marque is back with a 2026 model that takes everything riders loved about the original and cranks it up to build the ultimate globe-trotting motorcycle.

Power Meets Precision
At the heart of the 2026 Rally sits the same 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine that made the previous generation so compelling — 170hp at 10,750 rpm and 91lb.ft of torque at 8,750 rpm. But the real upgrade here is the new Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 system, which ditches the old microswitch setup for a gear drum positioning sensor. As a result, you get shorter throws and a more direct feel when you’re banging through gears.
The chassis has seen some thoughtful revisions too. Ducati repositioned the swingarm pivot point to improve suspension anti-squat and overall stability when you’re loaded down with luggage and a passenger. It’s a small change on paper but one that makes a meaningful difference when you’re hauling gear across multiple time zones.

Smarter Suspension, Better Control
The Adaptive Skyhook DSS EVO suspension has always been one of the Multistrada’s standout features, but Ducati’s engineers clearly weren’t satisfied. The 2026 model introduces an AUTO mode that actively reads both the terrain and your riding style, adjusting compression and rebound settings on the fly, paired with 200mm of suspension travel front and rear.
There’s also an Automatic Lowering Device now, which drops the bike’s height below 6 mph to help shorter riders (or anyone tired from a long day in the saddle) get their feet down more easily. It resets to the standard ride height once you hit 31 mph on pavement or 18 mph off-road.
Tech That Actually Helps
The radar suite — standard across the range — now includes Forward Collision Warning to complement the existing Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection. Meanwhile, Ducati’s Vehicle Observer (DVO) algorithm, borrowed from the Panigale V4, gives the traction and wheelie control systems more precise data to work with. The updated braking system is performed by squeezing the rear brake so the system can activate the front to improve stability, or vice versa depending on what the bike senses you need.
The windscreen has been widened by 20mm and raised by 40mm, which should make two-up riding significantly more comfortable for passengers. Heated grips are now standard, and the 7.9-gallon fuel tank means you can cover serious ground between fill-ups.

Two Liveries, Three Trims
Ducati is offering the 2026 Rally in classic Ducati Red with brushed aluminum and black wheels, plus a new Jade Green with brushed aluminum and gold wheels that screams adventure. The bike comes in three trim levels — Radar, Adventure Travel and Radar, and Full Adventure — each building on the last with more touring and performance features.
