The Tiffin Motorhomes story starts in 1941 when the Tiffin family opened a general store in northern Alabama. Over the following decades, the family would acquire several other businesses including a cotton gin in 1965 and then an RV business in 1972. Still family owned and operated, Tiffin has made RVs and campers ever since — and in 2020 was purchased by THOR Industries, which also owns Airstream.
With more-than-half-a-century of RV-building experience, Tiffin continues to produce some of the finest motorhomes and campers that money can buy — as evidenced by its latest go-anywhere offering, the 2025 Tiffin GH1 luxury adventure camper van.
The Basics
Based on the Mercedes-Benz 2500 Sprinter cargo van chassis, the 2025 GH1 spans 19’ 6” in length, stands at 10’ tall, boasts a 92-inch width. Good for 208hp and 332ft-lbs of torque, the luxury adventure camper is powered by Mercedes’ 2.0-liter four-cylinder twin-scroll turbo-diesel engine, which comes bolted to a nine-speed shiftable automatic transmission.
Off-Road Amenities
Despite its luxurious and well-appointed nature, the GH1 boasts some surprisingly decent go-anywhere capabilities — an area owed to a generous suite of off-roading bits that all come as standard. This includes an all-wheel drive system, top-of-the-line FOX Shocks paired with Agile Off-Road mounting brackets, Custom Off-Road Tiffin Adventure Wheels shod in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tires.
Interior Amenities
Boasting interior ceiling heights of 75”, the inside of the GH1 is incredibly well-appointed and offers space to comfortably sleep two adults. The custom-built cabin boasts features including a 3.1-cubic foot refrigerator and freezer, a portable single-burner induction cooktop, a 12-volt roof vent fan, a stainless steel single-bowl sink and faucet, galley-style overhead cabinets with rigid aluminum frames, a removable counter extension, a cassette toilet, a removable swivel table, a wall-mounted thermostat with a built-in temperature sensor, a climate control system, and a 49”x79” power-lift bed positioned above a massive gear garage.
Additional Hardware & Amenities
In a bid to bring the comforts of home out on the road or trails, the GH1 also features an enormous host of standard hardware and systems including a Sine Wave Inverter/Charger, a 540-Amp Hour Battle Born Lithium-Ion Battery Kit (that can be upgraded to an 810-Amp Hour cell), a 220-Watt GoPower Solar Panel with a 30-Amp Controller, and 220-amp and 280-amp primary and secondary alternators. The entire camper can also be fitted with an optional Starlink Pro wireless internet connection.
Optional 1UP Package
Though the 2025 GH1 already comes loaded with a generous host of features and amenities as standard, Tiffin is also offering customers the option of outfitting their new adventure camper with what’s been dubbed the GH1 1UP Package, which includes a wide range of supplementary options such as custom GH1 wheels, and Agile Off-Road hood strut kit, bumper-mounted off-road lighting, an upgraded audio system, an upgraded solar controller, and a luxury mattress upgrade, just to name a few.
What Makes It Special
While luxury camper vans are a dime-a-dozen these days, there are several factors that make the GH1 so noteworthy. For starters, it does a phenomenal job of bringing the comforts of home to just about anywhere, and it does so while still offering some pretty excellent go-anywhere abilities right off the showroom floor with its FOX suspension and custom wheels.
Its use of solar panels and available Starlink Pro internet also mean the GH1 can be a mobile work station for content creators and van-lifers. Relatively speaking, the GH1 also boasts a pretty accessible price — at least compared to its half-million-dollar counterparts, most of which offer similar amenities and capabilities as the GH1.

The 2025 Tiffin GH1 adventure camper van is available for order now and can be custom-configured on the brand’s site. Though Tiffin doesn’t currently list pricing for the 2025 GH1 on its website, a quick look on RV Trader shows the 2025 model year iteration of the adventure camper going for between $170,000 and $200,000.
