Founded in 1977, BRABUS is currently recognized as one of the world’s premier automotive tuners, having carved out a much-deserved reputation for transforming already exclusive Mercedes and Maybach models into ultra-elite, ultra-high-performance limited editions. Based in Bottrop, Germany, BRABUS has maintained its world-class reputation by constantly outdoing its own creations. Case in point; the 2025 BRABUS Rocket 1000 “1 of 25” — an AMG-based super sedan representing the tuner’s most powerful modified model to date.

The most powerful vehicle in the tuning firm’s 47-year history, the BRABUS Rocket 1000 “1 of 25” is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance. Thanks to some impressive tuning and managing — and a minor bump in displacement — the super-sedan’s twin-turbocharged now-4.5-liter V8 now cranks out an even 1,000hp and up to 1,342ft-lbs. In order to protect transmission components from the V8’s immense power, torque has been electronically limited to 1,195ft-lbs. Even slightly watered-down, the Rocket 1K is able to reach 60mph, 125mph, and 186mph in just 2.6 seconds, 9.7 seconds, and 23.9 seconds respectively — before ultiimately reaching its top speed of 196mph.

Complementing the hybrid four-door’s boost in power is a custom widebody carbon aero kit complete with a new front apron design equipped with carbon aero blades, an integrated front spoiler with raised side flaps, a new set of carbon ram air intakes, a BRABUS radiator grill, widebody fender flares at all four corners, and an exposed carbon rear wing. Riding on a set of BRABUS Monoblock P forged wheels (21” F, 22” rear) with carbon aero disc covers, the entire design takes inspiration from the original BRABUS Rocket from 2006. The exterior of this limited-to-25-units model is being offered in either black or gray finishes. Inside, the cabin has been treated to what BRABUS appropriately calls a “complete Masterpiece interior,” with handcrafted breathable black leather trim adorned in BRABUS’ “Ellipse” quilting pattern.

Limited to only 25 units worldwide — as its name suggests — the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance-based 2025 BRABUS Rocket 1000 “1 of 25” is available for order now, with pricing for the black and gray variants starting at €538,192 (~ $580,000) and €565,979 ( ~ $610,000), respectively.
