Like most people in the outdoor space, we’ve been riding high on the wave of recreational vehicle popularity. With offerings big and small, companies throughout the industry are cranking out some fantastic offerings to provide comfort and amenities to your off-grid adventures. On the big offerings side of the spectrum, the team over at Global Expedition Vehicles created a behemoth camper to model as their show truck, the aptly named 2021 Adventure Truck.
Built to tackle virtually any terrain, the 2021 Adventure Truck lives up to its name as it’s built using a massive 2004 Ford F750 truck chassis. GXV outfitted the F750 chassis to feature a GXV fiberglass composite molded expedition body measuring 12.5′ long and 89″ (roughly 7.5′) wide. The Adventure Truck features dual-paned glass windows for enhanced insulation as well as integrated blinds and screens. Its storage offerings include a passenger-side storage locker with a side access door, a rear storage door for large under-bed storage, a mounted roof rack on the front of the expedition body, and five integrated underbody storage boxes, which will allow you to bring virtually any adventure gear you’ll need. As far as its interior is concerned, the Adventure Truck sports a spacious dining area and a full kitchenette with a stainless steel sink, a single burner induction cooktop, upper storage shelves, and a refrigerator. Moreover, the cab has a raised sleeping section with a full bed as well as a wet bath with a shower and Thetford swivel cassette toilet. It also has a stout Mastervolt electrical system, along with 600w solar panels and plenty of electrical outlets.
For accessories, the Adventure Truck comes loaded with a rear-mounted hitch receiver for a bike rack, passenger and driver’s side awnings with leading edge protectors, and even a security camera system. For those interested in living large and adventuring comfortably, the Adventure Truck is available for purchase on the GXV website for $345,000.
