Country-inspired clothing, especially, always has a way of sticking around in some form during whatever fashion trend is hot at the moment. Huckberry is one brand that also takes inspiration from Americana, with its name coming from Mark Twain’s classic book, and it’s seen in the company’s output and collaborations consistently. Crocs, on the other hand, are not so closely associated with the thought of cowboys and wagons. But they have seen a resurgence in popularity here in the States that will no doubt leave a mark (or at least a mention) in the world of American style. And now, they’ve teamed up on the Huckberry x Crocs Classic Western Boot as part of the duo’s Western collaboration.
The Huckberry x Crocs Classic Western Boot is exactly what it sounds (and looks like): a ruggedized Croc in the style of a Western boot. The usual suspects are here with Crocs Comfort on the soles and Croslite foam uppers, but the uppers here have been extended to fit and look like a boot, even mimicking the leather and adding pull tabs. The stitching and color mimicking ranch roper boots also add to the Western theme and aesthetic. Additionally, the boots have a waterproof EVA lining and outsole that will dry quickly.
In addition to the Huckberry x Crocs Classic Western Boot, the collab also features the All-Terrain Western Clog and a pack of five Jibbitz. The pack includes a holster, a carabiner, rope, a whistle, and a canteen that you can attach to your Crocs.
