Multi-tools come and go, but the good ones stick around. And every once in a while, a new brand comes out of nowhere to offer a fresh perspective on a category that often revolves around incremental changes. Recently launched on Kickstarter, Ti-Spin’s MultiKit is a titanium multi-tool that transforms the mundane act of bit selection into something both visually and physically satisfying. Where most pocket tools prioritize pure function, this one dares to make the experience enjoyable as well.

The Spin Factor
The MultiKit’s defining feature is its revolver-style cylinder that houses six magnetic S2 steel bits, spinning on precision bearings with the kind of tactile feedback that’ll have you mindlessly rotating it during meetings. Made from CNC-milled grade 5 titanium, the cylinder is designed for a precise spin like a perfect fidget tool.
Yet the meticulous engineering serves a purpose as well, precluding the need to fumble through bit cases. Instead, when you need a Phillips head or hex bit, you simply spin to the right slot, pull it out, and insert it into the magnetic driver at the top.

Beyond the Gimmick
Strip away the spinning novelty and you’re left with a surprisingly practical EDC multi-tool. For everything from package opening to field work, the retractable utility blade deploys with a simple slide mechanism and is replaceable too. Likewise, Ti-Spin wisely made it so you can remove the blade entirely, allowing you to carry this through TSA checkpoints when needed. As a bonus, the side of the housing includes laser-engraved ruler markings for extra utility.
The modular approach extends to a secondary head that swaps in place of the bit housing cylinder, giving you the option of transforming it into a bottle opener and glass breaker. However, we can’t see many people opting for these occasional-use functions over one that’s just all-around cleaner.

At 550g (1.21lbs), the aerospace-grade titanium carries enough heft to feel substantial without becoming burdensome, while the corrosion resistance and durability of Grade 5 titanium mean this should outlast most of your other pocket gear.
