Oakley and Satisfy Just Reimagined Trail Sunglasses for Another Planet

In just a few short years, Oakley and Satisfy have already teamed up six times. Starting with new takes on Oakley’s Re:SubZero and Eye Jacket sunglasses, the Paris-based boutique running brand has now aimed to try something completely different — and it looks like something out of a post-apocalyptic future.

A New Silhouette for Shifting Conditions

Part of the Chapter VI colleciton, the Stunt Devil is a departure from previous Oakley x Satisfy drops, which typically reimagined archival frames. This time, they’re putting a spin on a silhouette just a month after its initial release to create this new version with the photochromic lenses.

Unlike traditional Prizm lenses that are optimized for specific conditions, these adapt in real-time as light changes throughout the day. It’s a smart addition for the kind of long-distance trail running that Satisfy regularly tests in desert environments, where you’re moving from pre-dawn darkness through harsher midday sun.

The frame itself uses Oakley’s new HyperGrip system — split-temple tips with Unobtanium webbing that actually grips harder when you sweat and looks like frog feet. Combined with Unobtanium nosepads and lightweight O-Matter construction, the fit stays locked through whatever terrain you’re covering. It’s overkill for casual use, but that’s never been the point with either brand.

Where Oakley’s standard Stunt Devil leans into bright Prizm lenses and vibrant frames, Satisfy stripped things back to matte black with their logo replacing Oakley’s branding on the shield lens.

Beyond Eyewear

The Chapter VI collection extends beyond the Stunt Devil with a couple of technical accessories. The PeaceShell Trail Cap uses French-made fabric that’s water-repellent and fast-drying, with a SilverShell brim designed to reflect heat. Then there’s the Rippy Bandana, crafted from Japanese ripstop monomesh — ultralight and breathable enough to handle prolonged heat and dust without feeling like you’re wearing anything at all.
