Celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2025, Formula 1 is sure to have a slew of new partnerships and products rolling out in the coming months. During this past weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, it announced a multi-year team-up with LEGO on some new products, including these miniature versions of your favorite teams.
LEGO x Formula 1 Speed Champions Basics
Whether you’re backing Red Bull Racing, Williams Racing, or any of the other 8 teams on the starting grid this F1 season, LEGO has made a miniature version of each car with a Minifigure driver in tow. Ranging from 242 to 275 pieces, these sets each feature cars that stretch 8” long, 3” wide, and 1.5” high.
The official list includes the aforementioned Red Bull RB20 and Williams FW46, as well as the Ferrari SF-24, McLaren MCL38, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24, BWT Alpine F1 Team A524, KICK Sauber F1 Team C44, Visa Cash App VCARB 01, Aston Martin Aramco F1 AMR24, and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS W15. The cars roughly feature the same overall structure but with different color schemes and branding. They’re all rated ages 10+ except for, interestingly, the Red Bull and Visa Cash App cars, probably because of the nature of the brands involved.
What Else Is Coming Out?
The Speed Champions sets are just some of the many products rolling out this coming year, including LEGO City sets that offer an immersive incorporation of the above 10 sets. There are six sets in total, which will be available on January 1. The brand’s press release states, “With the ability to recreate race weekend scenarios from vehicle transport and repairs in the team garage to the race start and even super speedy pit stops.”
If you’re a Ferrari fan, you’ll be pleased to hear that the 10 cars above will be released alongside a 1,361-piece set of the Ferrari SF-24 F1 car as part of the LEGO Technics range. Priced at $230, this will be a 1:8 scale vehicle with functioning parts intended for builders ages 18 and older.
For younger builders, there are F1 Duplo sets and cars for the LEGO Collectibles series as well. Whatever your experience level, this should be a fun year for any fans of both Formula 1 and LEGO.
