It’s not only important to bring knives and tools along with you on your upcoming camping trip, but the correct knives and tools. When compiling our adventure loadout, we so often forget one or two essential pieces that would have made our outing much easier. To eliminate the guesswork from the packing process, Gerber has assembled the new Around Camp Kit with everything you’ll need at base camp.

Since 1939, Gerber has perfected the art of knifemaking and even got into the multi-tool game in the ‘90s, becoming one of the most renowned players worldwide. The new Around Camp Kit includes the Tri-Tip mini cleaver, the ComplEat utensil set, and the Armbar Cork multi-tool — all of which are available individually from the brand as well, but you’ll save when buying them together. Whether you’re opening up a bottle of wine in the evening (or morning) or cutting rope for hanging up your hammock, the Armbar Cork will accomplish almost any task at hand. It features 8 tools in total, including a corkscrew, pry bar, can opener, bottle opener, foil cutter, pair of scissors, hammer, and 2.5-inch plain edge blade with a frame lock. There’s also a striking surface for lighting up the campfire.

If you’re doing any eating around camp (Spoiler: You will be), the ComplEat utensil set will come in handy. It includes a sturdy reusable fork, spoon, and glass-filled nylon spatula with a silicone edge. For even more versatility, you can use either the fork or spoon together with the spatula as a pair of tongs. This set also features a 4-tool multi-tool that can be used as a can opener, package opener, bottle opener, or vegetable peeler. As for the 5-ounce Tri-Tip mini cleaver, its 7Cr17MoV steel blade can help you prep meals and tackle miscellaneous chores around the campsite. The blade itself is built with full-tang construction all the way through its machined aluminum scales. Like all of Gerber’s tools, this has more than one function as well: Its beveled edge can scrape while the fine edge can cut.

You could spend $127 accumulating this set manually or just spend $100 when purchased together. The Around Camp Kit is available now through Gerber’s website.
