Chaco has been making trusty outdoor shoes for decades now, so it was only a matter of time before it acknowledged its tenure in the footwear world. With the release of its fun-loving Retro Collection, the brand is reviving nostalgia-inducing color palettes that are perfect for seasonal adventures.
The silhouettes undergoing the old-school treatment are the Chillos Clog, Ramble Puff, Ramble Puff Clog, and Z/1 Classic. The Chillos Clog sits on a lightweight, injection-molded EVA midsole featuring LUVSEAT contouring capabilities. For sustainability’s sake, it boasts a vegan-friendly composition. As for the winter-ready Ramble Puff, it has a quilted, water-resistant nylon upper and stylish polyester jacquard webbing with an injection molded locking buckle. Then, it’s lined with fleece for optimized warmth and placed upon an EVR combined midsole/outsole with grippy 3mm lugs.
Following the traditional Ramble Puff is its unique clog iteration, delivering all the same elements of the standard shoe in slip-on fashion. Lastly, it wouldn’t be Chaco without some new sandals, leaving the brand no choice but to tack an old-school outdoor look onto its Z/1 Classic, which has the distinctive high-tensile webbing heel risers. The colorways that make up this collection are Retro Black and Retro Camel Brown, each consisting of orange and teal accents.
