Benchmade Just Revealed 10 New Fixed Blade & Folding Knives for 2022

Since its inception, the Benchmade knife company has always prized quality over quantity, slowly and meticulously designing and crafting each one of its models using an extensive and highly-calculated R&D process — a fact that’s earned the Oregon City outfit one of the most revered reputations in the knife and EDC spaces. And while traditionally, the company has unveiled a new model every few months, Benchmade has opted to take a different route for 2022, debuting a whopping ten new knifes for the new year.

This massive new release is comprised of seven completely novel designs, as well as a pair of updated fan favorites and an ultra-premium Gold Class variant of one of the brand’s most renowned EDC knives. From the company’s rugged and outdoor-focused Hunt Class, Benchmade has debuted an updated version of the wildly-popular Meatcrafter (15500OR-2) camp chef knife, along with the all-new Taggedout 15535 folding knife, the skinny fixed blade Flyaway 15700, and the top-shelf fixed-blade Raghorn 15600OR — which are priced at $400, $190, $200, and $370, respectively. From Benchmade’s military and LE-spec tactical Black Class range, the knifemaker has debuted the new OTF Shootout 5370FE model, the Redoubt 430BK folder, and an updated version of the automatic Claymore 9070BK — which are priced at $300, $180, and $230. Benchmade has also expanded its everyday-use Blue Class with the beefy fixed blade AИOИIMUS 539GY and the top-shelf SAK-style Weekender — which are priced at $290 and $250. Rounding out Benchmade’s 2022 release is a spare-no-expense, Gold Class version of the beloved Mini Osborne (945-211), which has been bestowed with a Damasteel Ægir-pattern reverse tanto blade that’s been paired with carbon Arctic Storm scales before being decorated via a gold-plated floating backspacer and aqua-anodized bolsters and thumb studs. This top-shelf limited-edition knife has a $700 price tag.

Each model from Benchmade’s entire 2022 Knife collection is slated for a release over the coming months — with some models debuting later this January and February while others are scheduled for releases later this Spring and Summer — with pricing starting from $180 and going up to $700.
