Luminox Marks World Oceans Day with a Wave of Pacific Diver Chronographs

Presented by

With an average depth of around 4,000m and an area that covers nearly 30% of the Earth’s surface, the Pacific Ocean represents perhaps the greatest remaining challenge to the explorers of today. It’s no wonder then that the massive body of water serves as the inspiration for Luminox’s adventure-ready Pacific Diver line, and now the brand is adding to the series once again with a slew of new watches.

In honor of World Oceans Day, Luminox has unveiled a nonad of new Pacific Diver Chronographs. The nine new watches all feature rugged 44mm stainless steel cases topped with unidirectional rotating dive-time bezels made from Luminox’s proprietary lightweight CARBONOX material, and are water-resistant to 200m. They also feature Luminox’s acclaimed tritium gas-powered Luminox Light Technology that maintains visibility in the dark for up to 25 years — even while exploring the depths of the Pacific.

There are nine different versions of the updated Pacific Diver Chronograph, so you’ll definitely find one to suit your style. Red, orange, green, blue, white, and black accented versions all come with matching cut-to-fit rubber straps that make sizing and comfort a breeze. Leaning into its military heritage, Luminox is offering a stealth version with a fully blacked-out case and numerals that also comes on a black rubber strap. Finally, if you’re more of a bracelet guy, the black and blue versions are available on a three-link stainless steel bracelet for added versatility out of the water.

If you’re hoping to engage in a bit of ocean exploration yourself, then you should consider strapping a Swiss-made Luminox Pacific Diver Chronograph to your wrist. The nine new references are all available now on Luminox’s online shop, with prices from $795.
