Both owned by the Volkswagen Group, Ducati and Lamborghini are world-renowned for producing high-performance Italian exotics. And it’s because of the two brands’ similar products and identities that the two teamed up in 2021 to deliver a Sian-inspired Lambo edition Diavel 1260. After the success of this first limited edition model, the two have once again linked up, this time to produce a Lamborghini edition version of the Ducati Streetfighter.
Based on the 2023 model year of Ducati’s S-spec Streetfighter V4, the new Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini draws visual inspiration from the supercar maker’s Huracán STO. As such, the bike features a slew of nods to the supercar, including specially-made forged wheels with titanium clamping nuts, a front fender with cooling ducts modeled after the car’s air ducts, and grille extractors and air intakes on the tank cover, toe cap, and tailpiece that mimic the look of the Huracán STO’s rear brake cooling ducts. The limited edition model also wears a Huracán STO-inspired livery complete with #63 racing numbers — a reference to the year Lamborghini was founded.
The Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini also gets a titanium Akrapovič exhaust system with a carbon fiber end cap. The special edition Ducati retains the regular Streetfighter V4 S’ 208-hp 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine. Just like on the Super Trofeo Omologata-spec Huracán, the Lamborghini Edition Ducati is loaded with carbon fiber elements including the bike’s open clutch cover, timing belt covers, winglets, radiator covers, subframe, exhaust heat shield, tail cowl, tank cover, instrumentation shroud, heel guards, and front and rear fenders. Lamborghini’s Speciale Clienti department is also producing a limited, numbered series of 63 units, all of which are available exclusively to existing Lamborghini owners and will be custom-painted and given replica rims matching that of their car. What’s more, the joint effort also includes a custom riding gear collection in the same colorway as the limited edition bike, consisting of a special Arai Corsair-X RC helmet, and an airbag-equipped Dainese riding jacket and set of race leathers.
Limited to only 630 + 63 units worldwide — a nod to the Huracán STO’s horsepower output — the 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini has been priced at $68,000 and is expected to begin deliveries in May of 2023.
