Since being revived back in the mid-aughts, the Challenger and Charger models have become two of Dodge’s best-selling vehicles, with the brand moving more than 54,000 Challengers and nearly 80,000 Chargers in 2021 alone. As Dodge plans to phase out these petrol-powered models in favor of a forthcoming all-electric lineup, the company has opted to give the Charger and Challenger a final sendoff in the form of seven different special edition releases known as the Last Call lineup. And after previously pulling the cover off of the Shakedown Edition Challenger and Super Bee Edition Charger, the American auto marque has now revealed the third and fourth installments in the Last Call range with the Dodge Challenger and Charger Swinger Special Edition models.

Touted by Dodge as being “an ‘ode to the late 60s and early 70s performance models,” the Charger and Challenger Swinger Special Editions are based on the Scat Pack Widebody versions of both vehicles. As such both cars pack a 6.4-liter V8 engine that’s good for 485hp and 475ft-lbs of torque. Adorned in a vintage-inspired dark green livery juxtaposed via lime green graphics and a slew of gold accents, the Swinger edition models boast a plethora of visual tweaks inside and out.

This includes blacked-out six-pot Brembo brakes, retro-inspired throwback cursive “Swinger” rear fender graphics, and what Dodge has called “Gold School” (i.e. gold colored) grille badges, shaker intakes, Scat Pack and Bee spoiler badges, Bee fender badges, and 20” x 11” wheels. The interior of these special editions have also been heavily reworked and now feature Mod Grain aluminum bezels, Nappa leather and Alcantara seats with green accent stitching and matching green Dodge Rhombi logos, a green Swinger gauge cluster badge, and green accent stitching decorating the doors and center console.

While pricing has yet to be revealed, the 2023 Dodge Challenger and Charger Widebody Swinger Special Editions will be available starting in the Spring of 2023. Both the Charger and Challenger Swinger Edition models will also be limited to 1,000 units each.
