WE Knife’s Snick Flipper with Wood Inlay Is a Classy EDC Blade

Presented by

Since 2016, WE Knife has become a mainstay in the knife industry for its innovative designs and consistent standard of quality. Unique models such as the beautiful drop-point Double Helix and the two-in-one Nerv Balisong Comb have stood out as examples of the far reaches to which the brand will venture to blend style with utility. However, WE Knife has thrived on traditional EDC examples as well.

Among WE Knife’s new Snick line of flippers is the Wood Inlay iteration. The slightly curved 6AL4V titanium handle is embedded with cuibourtia wood which pairs beautifully with the black accents around it. Like the rest of the Snick line (except the Timascus), the Wood version sports a blade made from CPM 20CV steel, which is optimal for retaining its edge, with a 58-60 HRC hardness rating.

One in a line of Snick knives that includes Micarta, Timascus, and Carbon Fiber variants, the Wood Inlay version is not just notable for its classy handle material, but in that it features a black stonewashed blade with a flat grind, compared to the typical gray blade of most of the other Snick knives. The blade itself measures roughly 3.5″ long, stretching to just over 8″ when open (4.54″ when closed). What’s more, the knife weighs in at just over 3oz for a super-light carry.

Featuring a black titanium tip-up pocket clip, with an extra clip for left-carry individuals, WE Knife’s Snick Flipper with Wood Inlay is now available via WE Knife’s website for $285.
