As of 2023, only 20% of the Earth’s oceans have been explored. That leaves a vast majority just sitting there waiting to be discovered. Considering it the largest, covering almost 30% of the planet’s surface, the deepest, and the most abundant with marine life, the Pacific Ocean itself is highly conducive to divers and adventurers who are willing to venture out and push the limitations of exploration. This year, for World Oceans Day, Luminox has readied a trio of new colorways in its Pacific Diver Chronograph line that are inspired by its namesake body of water.

When it comes to its familiarity with the outdoors, Luminox is second to none, with a range of divers and field watches that are among the toughest around, even garnering the approval of the U.S. Navy SEALs, the Icelandic Association for Search and Rescue, and Bear Grylls himself. The brand’s Pacific Diver range got even more impressive with the addition of the chronograph function, with a triple-register dial that allows you to time dives underwater in tandem with the unidirectional CARBONOX bezel.

Highlighting the new Pacific Diver Chronograph range expansion is the limited-edition turquoise variant, which features the ocean-inspired color on the subdials and matching cut-to-fit rubber strap, offering unique legibility against the white dial with black numerals, indices, and hands. The perfect companion for your summer adventures, echoing the calls of the Pacific Ocean itself, the turquoise edition is limited to just 710 pieces. As for the other two references, they’re not limited in edition size. Both feature black dials with either sand or crimson subdial colors with matching rubber straps as well. All three of the new chronographs have a 200m water resistance and the brand’s tritium gas-powered Luminox Light Technology that remains glowing for 25 years.
