With several watch-automobile partnerships out there, Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin have done their part to stand out from the pack with a handful of releases since joining forces back in 2021. From the wild-looking triple-bridge tourbillon with a skeletonized dial to a pair of Laureato Chronographs — one of which used materials from previous F1 cars — the brands always seem to push the needle forward, even if it’s just a little bit, and almost always find a way to incorporate the color green.

Easily the simplest timepiece in the collaboration thus far, the fourth release between the two brands features the green hue most aggressively. This time around it’s not a chronograph but a dress watch featuring a ceramic case and bracelet. The new Laureato Green Ceramic Aston Martin Edition favors the British marque’s signature green colorway monochromatically while sporting a semi-minimalist design. While many watches will coat their ceramic with a certain color on top, Girard-Perregaux has made the ceramic itself that color. It’s achieved by mixing extremely fine micro-beaded zirconium oxide powder with metallic oxides. The result is something that appears more natural than if it were to have been colored after the fact.

Available in both 42mm and 38mm case diameters, the timepiece sports an octagonal bezel that surrounds the attractive dial (also green). Without any numerals or subdials to decorate it, the face has been given a cross-hatch pattern like the other two Laureato Aston Martin Edition Chronographs, harkening back to the car brand’s ‘20s-era “M” logo. As for the movement, the watch uses Girard-Perregaux’s in-house GP01800-2165 automatic caliber with 54 hours of power reserve and visible through the caseback.

If you’d like to get yourself the Laureato Green Ceramic Aston Martin Edition, you should act fast since it’s limited to just 188 pieces for the 38mm and 388 for the 42mm. Head over to Girard-Perregaux’s website where it’s priced starting at $25,000.
