Victorinox Unveils an LE Picknicker with Pearwood Scales & a Damasteel Blade

Victorinox is no stranger to limited-edition releases, with the company debuting several special-edition SAKs and items each year. And despite having already released a dozen different Damast Edition models, Victorinox has now unveiled its latest LE Offering with what’s been christened the Special Picknicker Damast Limited Edition 2022.

Based on the existing Picknicker knife, this limited edition release sees the regular model’s scales jettisoned in favor of top-shelf Pearwood handles. Equipped with ten tools in total, this version of the Picknicker sports a key ring, a lockable bottle opener, a wire stripper, 3mm and 7mm screwdrivers, a cheese blade, a corkscrew, a reamer and punch, and a can opener. The most noteworthy change to the knife, however, is undoubtedly its top-shelf knife blade — a “Baldur” pattern Damascus steel made by Sweden’s Damasteel.

Measuring 4.4” in length and 1/2” in width, this limited edition Damascus-bladed knife also tips the scales at only 4.3oz. In addition to each unit being individually numbered, the Special Picknicker Damast Limited Edition 2022 is also sold with an included gift and display box. This release also represents Victorinox’s 13th Damast Edition release — though the 2022 version is almost certainly the finest yet. This item is also backed by Victorniox’s lifetime warranty.

Limited to only 6,000 units worldwide, the Victorinox Special Picknicker Damast Limited Edition 2022 knife is available now with pricing set at $375.
