Sonos’ ecosystem of user-friendly sound equipment has grown as popular as any brand’s catalog through the years, and its newest release will make a great addition to your home theater. The Santa Barbara-bred manufacturer’s Sub Mini subwoofer delivers refined bass that you’d usually expect to see on larger options.
The forthcoming release follows the brand’s Beam and Ray soundbars, going to show that it’s doing everything it takes to upgrade your audial/visual experience. The Sub Mini boasts a pair of dual custom woofers and advanced digital signal processing tech to deliver deep, dynamic low-end frequencies without any rattling feedback. These face inward in an acoustically sealed cabinet to neutralize distortion. So whether you’re watching House of the Dragon or listening to the week’s latest album, the high-powered subwoofer provides the extra touch of sound necessary.
Like any of Sonos’ products, connectivity is as easy as can be, as you can simply pair your Sub Mini with either of the brand’s soundbars or speakers to make for an incredible, immersive listen. Size-wise, the Sub Mini measures 1’ tall with a diameter of just over 9”, going to show that Sonos has managed to outdo itself. For a more direct comparison, the brand’s standard Sub stands 15” tall with a hefty weight of 36 pounds. While the former generation’s sonic capabilities are substantially better, the new release is sure to deliver big sound in small spaces.
The Sub Mini will be available in two colors — matte black and white — for $429 starting October 6.
