To the delight of PC gamers around the globe, Razer has unveiled its latest mechanical keyboard, and it’s quite a doozy. The gadgeteer’s BlackWidow V4 Pro packs in virtually every element you’d expect in a full-size keyboard and a bevy of bells and whistles.
The new release features eight additional macro buttons, five of which appear on the left-hand side, while the other three can be found on the edge of the keyboard. You might ask what they are for, but that’s for you to decide, as each key’s function is fully configurable. To top it off, the V4 Pro boasts a quartet of customizable media keys. What’s more is its encoder dial with several different functions, all of which are at your disposal by simply turning it an extra time.
Speaking of dials, Razer’s latest retains the V3’s volume roller on the right-hand side, showing that there were some elements worth keeping intact. To no surprise, the V4 Pro is fully compatible with the brand’s Chroma RGB platform, allowing you to sync your other desktop devices for an immersive lighting experience across the board. Plus, if you need additional RGB lights, you’re in luck, as the device’s leatherette wrist rest is fitted with the same array. Functionally, the new keyboard has a pair of USB-C ports, and keycaps are constructed from whisper-quiet ABS plastic.
Razer’s BlackWidow V4 Pro is available on the brand’s webshop today for $230.
