Fujifilm’s Instax Mini Evo Camera Takes Vintage Photos for the Modern Day

Fujifilm’s illustrious history in crafting handy cameras runs pretty deep. While there are many other subsidiaries that fall under the Japanese conglomerate’s name, they tend to excel at delivering nifty new ways to grab a couple of photos. With a new addition to their Polaroid-like Instax series, the Instax Mini Evo looks to serve as the brand’s flagship geared for the new decade.

Sleek and pocket-sized, Fujifilm’s new hybrid camera boasts features you’d surely expect a modern-day instant digicam to offer, and they make it look even better than you’d imagine. Compared to prior models in their Instax series, the Mini Evo’s exposure is bolstered, guaranteeing a gorgeous print quality that will capture any moment as you saw it. The camera also features a whopping ten different lenses, allowing the modern lensman to dictate the filter on their photo by merely turning the dial a bit. Scrolling through these, you will see different effects make way across the Mini Evo’s 3″ LCD screen. On top of that, when adjusting the camera’s film dial, users will be able to file through ten different film effects, as well. Capable of seamlessly pairing to your phone, these photos can be transferred over as easily as they can be printed directly from the camera with the tap of a button. To accentuate this latest release, Fujifilm has also unveiled a new form of mini-format film they’ve called ‘Stone Gray,’ accented by the silver frame that surrounds the photo.

The Instax Mini Evo hybrid camera from Fujifilm will be available in Japan starting December 3rd and is slated to reach the states at some point in 2022. In the meantime, you can always practice taking vintage photos on your smartphone.
