Since the company’s inception in 2016, Super73 has utilized custom one-off builds in an effort to showcase its bikes’ conduciveness to customization. And while Super73 already boasts a lengthy list of previous bespoke projects — including a myriad of one-off ebikes built for a handful of A-list celebrities — the Irvine-based outfit has now revealed what is arguably its most involved build to date with a Mad Max-inspired two-wheeler made for cruising the dusty impromptu streets of Burning Man.

Based on the California company’s full-suspension RX Mojave model, the project was commissioned by and built for YouTuber and artist Jesse Wellens. Drawing ample influence from the post-apocalyptic vehicles seen in the Mad Max films, this bespoke RX has been pieced together around a faux weathered “tank” and chassis with an integrated frame-mounted cargo rack. The front end of the build has also been bestowed with a wire-wrapped projector headlight, a custom mesh bikini fairing, and a one-off high-mount front fender.

The aft-end of the bike has also been gifted a bespoke brown leather saddle that’s been capped off via a custom backrest-equipped sissy bar. Alongside a Nebraska commercial truck license plate that now acts as a bash guard, the build’s most noteworthy features are undoubtedly its faux exhaust and muffler and a pair of rear luggage racks that now accommodate a set of air filters that have been repurposed into side panniers. Smaller details such as perforated fork guards, a custom-painted monoshock spring, and truck bed liner-sprayed surface finishes collectively speak to the immense attention to detail that this project benefits from.

While the Super73 RX Mojave-based Mad Max build is already spoken for, the project nonetheless offers a unique glimpse into what we can only imagine will be a series of increasingly complex one-off two-wheelers from the California company over the next few years.
