Nike is never one to shy away from the next big thing in performance innovation, and the brand’s latest iteration in its Invincible lineup packs all the premium elements you’d expect to find in a noteworthy running shoe.
The Invincible 3 boasts the most advanced ZoomX cushioning platform the performance giant has churned out, paving the way for unrivaled comfort through anything from a morning jog to an all-out marathon. This newly-designed foam promotes increased responsiveness, adding more bounce to each stride you take. Nike’s newest steppers also feature an upgraded Flyknit upper with strategically-placed zones where feet tend to heat up most often, paving the way for a more breathable workout from heel to toe. Additionally, they are equipped with a smaller heel clip, wider midsole for enhanced stability, and taller foam stacks for extra cushion.
All that said, other significant differences separating the third model from its predecessor are virtually scarce, as the Beaverton brand makes clear that the latest generation is “an all-around enhancement on the Invincible 2’s primary features.” Moreover, the new release implements all the performance technologies found on the previous shoe. Still, Nike uses improved materials to pull them off, not to mention delivering an entirely new streamlined look to go along with it.
The Invincible 3 road running shoes are available in a quartet of colorways on Nike’s webshop for $180.
