With the rising ubiquitousness of corporate collaborations, it seems a week can’t pass without a groundbreaking collaboration between the fashion, street culture, and the automotive spaces. Designers across all spaces are working their creative muscles overtime trying to figure out the trends of tomorrow through collaborations today as they endeavor to stake their claim in the creative space. In an attempt to “re-map coolness” British icons Jaguar and Baracuta are coming together to curate a guide to future design classics, aptly named “The New Classic Guide”.
The New Classic Guide is a true alchemy of Jaguar’s automotive background and Baracuta’s fashion expertise as the British juggernauts will travel to the creative hubs of major European towns and cities in a one-of-a-kind Jaguar Baracuta E-PACE and custom Jaguar-edition Baracuta G9 Harrington jacket, curating future iconic designs with each stop. Acting as the literal engine for this creative odyssey, the Jaguar x Baracuta E-PACE P300e plug-in hybrid features a bespoke color, ‘Neutro’. This one-off E-PACE also sports the same tartan that Baracuta uses to line its G9 jacket on both its door trims and trunk floor. The jacket and car will be used by famous influencers, bloggers, artists, and content creators as they travel throughout the UK and Europe in search of places, fashions, trends, and people that will inspire and shape the next generation of style and design. The aforementioned design movers-and-shakers will stop to examine the subcultures and creative wells of France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
