Every rider has ripped through their fair share of denim. It just comes with the territory. Whether it’s knees that gave out, seats that wore paper thin, or even pockets that stopped holding keys.
Our friends at Iron & Resin are all too familiar with this dilemma, and spent nearly a decade engineering its way out. The answer is the newly rebuilt Enduro Denim Jeans.

When Cotton Is the Minority Fiber
Dyneema, if you’re unfamiliar, is billed as the “world’s strongest fiber.” It’s an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene that’s roughly 15 times stronger than steel by weight. And while we’re seeing it more these days in premium high-end outdoor and EDC gear, it was typically found in more demanding applications like ballistic armor and sailing rigging.

To be clear, this isn’t Iron & Resin’s first experimentation with Dyneema. When the Enduro first launched back in 2017, the fabric carried 13% of it. The rebuilt version, however, nearly triples that figure. The14.5oz weave is now running 35% Dyneema alongside 22% nylon, 5% elastane, and just 38% cotton.

And because the Dyneema is spun through the entire weave rather than patched onto trouble spots, there’s no weak link for the trail to find. Denimheads will be happy to know that these still do require break in, and they will both age and fade exactly like a traditional pair of raws.

Cut for the Saddle
Angled “Western Rider Pockets” keep your phone and keys reachable (and contained) while seated. And that goes for whether you’re on a bike, in a truck, or behind a desk.
Elsewhere you’ll find 9oz twill-reinforced back pockets, a triple-needle felled rise and yoke, copper rivets at every stress point, and a mid-rise cut with extra back coverage for when you’re tucked into a riding position. Of course, the whole thing is also sewn entirely in the USA.
