Since its inception in 2010, Huckberry has grown into a go-to source for adventurers, off-roaders, and other outdoor enthusiasts — and for good reason, as the curation expert and online retailer carries some of the best outdoor garments and gear under the sun. As such, Huck’s decision to partner with Toyota for a capsule collection celebrating one of the most iconic off-roading platforms of all time — the Tacoma pickup — was an incredibly natural one. And after bringing a legendary designer on board to bring the capsule to fruition , it’s now unveiled the Huckberry x Tacoma Collection.
This limited edition collection is comprised of an amalgamation of novel pieces of clothing and several special Huckberry x Tacoma edition versions of some of the site’s most popular pieces of outdoor kit. Utilizing the iconic red, orange, and yellow color scheme that famously adorned the Toyota race truck of ten-time desert-racing champ, Ivan “Ironman” Stewart, this new 13-item collection features graphics and illustrations penned by graphic design legend Aaron Draplin. The collection also embraces the “Taco” monicker that the Tacoma is often casually referred to as by owners and enthusiasts.
The collection includes several snapback and trucker-style hats that each come adorned in a special Draplin-designed logo and graphics patches. These same graphics also decorate a trio of available Heavy-Weight T-Shirts in the Huck X Taco collection, plus the capsule includes a three-pack of “Emergency T-Shirts.” Rounding out the garments in the collection is a Huckberry x Tacoma version of Flint and Tinder’s best-selling 10-Year Pullover Hoodie. The Collection also sees Huck bring out numerous special edition versions of various fan-favorite items including a Huckberry x Tacoma variant of The James Brand’s Mehlville carabiner, a special edition Rumpl Puffy Blanket, and a custom-branded limited edition version of Give’r’s Unlined Work Gloves — all of which are fantastic additions to any off-roader’s gear loadout.
