Since its inception in 2019, Graphene-X has strived to push the envelop in the technical clothing space, with an ever-growing number of insanely-rugged, graphene-infused garments that are meticulously engineered to lend themselves to both urban and adventure applications. And while the Hong Kong-based company has already managed to deliver some highly-innovative apparel, its most recent release is almost certainly its most noteworthy to date, with a pant and shirt set designed to withstand the planet’s most extreme weather, environments, and conditions.
Dubbed the Everything Proof Pants and Shirt, Graphene-X’s latest offering follows the brand’s usual MO, but in a markedly more extreme manner. Boasting a 20K waterproof and breathability rating, the Everything Proof Pants are cut from a super hardwearing 7.37oz graphene-integrated stretch nylon fabric with both thermoregulating and antimicrobial properties. Absolutely brimming with features, these pants sport detachable suspenders, boot locks, an adjustable hem, open and closable side ventilation ports, weatherproof YKK AquaGuard zippers, and a total of nine pockets including a dedicated knife slip and an axe hanger pocket. What’s more, in addition to the ability to convert into shorts, the Everything Proof Pants also comes loaded integrated pockets for accommodating knee and hip armor — not unlike modern motorcycle pants. In total, the pants tip the scales at just under 30oz, too.
Weighing just 13.4oz, Graphene-X’s Everything Proof Shirt is crafted from a similar antimicrobial, thermoregulating graphene-integrated stretch cotton-nylon blend, though the shirt’s 3.6oz construction has also been supplemented via a DWR coating and UPF 50+ protection. Like the pants, the shirt is loaded to the gills with genuinely useful features and amenities such as Graphene-X’s revolutionary six-port “All-Across” ventilation system, a tactical double-height snap neck, rollable sleeves with hidden fasteners, reflective details, a hidden lens cloth, all YKK zippers, and a suite of interior and exterior pockets including standard front chest pockets and a hidden internal passport pocket.
Offered in Black-Ops, Stealth Green, or Navigator Blue color options, the Graphene-X Everything Proof Pants and Shirt are currently available for backing on Kickstarter, with early bird pricing for the shirt and pants starting from around $110 and $280, respectively — or $380 for both. Having already surprised its targeted funding goal more than seven-times over, Graphene-X’s Everything Proof pants and shirt are slated to begin deliveries in May of 2024.
