For over 30 years, Arc’teryx has established its footing as a ubiquitous staple of the cold-weather outdoor and streetwear worlds. The Vancouver-based brand has flourished by providing gear that caters to both spaces simultaneously as well as individually.

Case in point, the company’s Cerium Down Hoody has become one of the most popular puffers on the market for its performance and stylistic versatility. Available in four colors, the minimalist jacket can be taken on wintertime treks through the mountains or errands through the city. Its shell is built with recycled 15D Arato nylon that’s wind- and water-resistant, with an insulated StormHood that can fit over your helmet if needed.

Previously known as the Cerium LT, the coat offers meticulous insulation mapping, punctuating 850-fill RDS-certified European white goose down with spots of Coreloft synthetic insulation in areas that are more likely to deal with moisture. The result is an insanely warm and protective down jacket that only adds 11.8oz to your person. Because of its versatile silhouette, the Cerium Down Hoody can be tapped as your main outer layer but is also slim enough as a mid-layer.

Currently, the Arc’teryx Cerium Down Hoody is offered on REI’s web store for $400.
