PDW Releases a Böhler M390 Clip Point-Blade Invictus Folding Knife Variant

Prometheus Design Werx produces ultra-rugged, high-end garments and goods that are made from premium materials. So, unsurprisingly, the San Francisco company is extremely selective about the collaborative projects it takes on, only agreeing to items that boast the same level of quality and craftsmanship as its regular fare. And when it comes to everyday carry knives, PDW has long trusted the team over at Terrain 365, with the pair having previously joined forces on numerous occasions to deliver ultra-capable folding knives.

On the heels of the success of the SPD X Terrain 365 Invictus knife, PDW has once again linked up with Terrain 365, this time to produce a new clip point version of the titanium frame-locking folder. Like its drop point predecessor, the new STS-B G10 Combo SPD Edition is built around a rugged set of titanium integrated bolster framelock handles that are mated to a 3.50” blade that’s composed of super-premium Böhler M390 blade steel — rather than Terrain 365’s rust and corrosion-proof Terravantium proprietary dendritic cobalt blade construction. The STS-B G10 Combo SPD Edition also comes with two different colored sets of hand-fitted G-10 scales (one in OD green, and one in black).

And, like the previous SPD X Terrain 365 Invictus knife, this new clip point variant also retains the regular model’s dual thumb studs with dive watch-grade glow-in-the-dark cabochons, satin titanium hardware, titanium pivot collar, titanium backspacer, low-ride billet titanium pocket clip, bronze cages, ceramic ball detent, and laser-etched SPD Kraken Trident logo.

The Prometheus Design Werx x Terrain 365 STS-B G10 Combo SPD Edition is slated for a release on April 6th, and while pricing has yet to be revealed, you can expect to pay a pretty penny for this premium folder.
