Merrell’s catalog of outdoor-ready footwear has proven to feature some of the space’s most stylish silhouettes. In honor of that, Huckberry has come together with the Wolverine subsidiary to tack a fresh look onto the Moab 3 Smooth GTX.
The Americana-adoring retailer’s exclusive Aluminum colorway is composed of beige full-grain leather, off-white mesh, and bright blue laces. But, as fashionable as the Moab 3 is, it’s much more about function, and it’s hard to outdo the hiking boot in that department. For starters, it boasts a breathable GORE-TEX membrane for maximum weather protection, ensuring it is the perfect choice for rainy weather. The upper is finished with a bellows tongue for resisting debris and a sturdy toe cap for enhanced durability.
As far as the stomper’s bottom half goes, it sits on a Vibram TC5+ outsole for optimized grip, durability, and flexibility on any terrain. This element is bolstered by Merrell’s proprietary Air Cushion in the heel and Super Rebound Compound for enhanced stability and shock absorption. Furthermore, the latter helps reduce torque and provides a smooth transition in the mid-foot. Above all else, the Moab 3 is remarkably comfortable no matter who wears it, as the Kinetic Fit ADVANCED countered footbed offers reinforced heel cushioning and the perfect fit over time.
