The California-based company boasts a line of RVs that are a proud blend of functionality and hospitality, and their Switchback II looks to epitomize both those traits in full.
Easy on the eyes, the Switchback II is built on a Mercedes-Benz 144″ Sprinter model and is the next evolution of its predecessor, the original Switchback. It boasts a crash-tested L-track SmartFloor system that allows riders to lock in and secure virtually any gear they could bring. The SmartFloor system also comes with a cork covering for an added layer of protection and noise reduction on bumpy rides. Adding another layer of sophistication and protection to the Switchback II’s interior is its premium marine-grade Birch ply woodwork which is laminated with a Fenix coating. This wood laminate is scratch-resistant, durable, and even repairable – just iron some parchment paper onto whatever knick you see on the cabinet and it will smooth out. Furthermore, the Switchback II comes with a remote-operated SCA pop-top and Murphy bed that can comfortably sleep four. Its kitchenette is complete with a dual-top induction stove, a stainless steel sink, and a mini-fridge.
For your bathing needs, the Switchback II has an exterior shower built into the rear of the kitchen cabinets that also features a privacy kit, a 25-gallon freshwater tank, and a 22-gallon grey water tank with a hot water system. Rounding out this already impressive RV is its powerhouse of an electrical system, which has a 300 amp hour Lithium battery, 230W of solar charging power, a 2nd alternator charging system, and shore power connector. Pricing for the Switchback II starts at $114,771.
