Since its inception in 2009, Singer Vehicle Design has established itself as one of, if not the world’s single most renowned Porsche tuner, with an ever-growing portfolio of envelop-pushing, 964-based widebody restomods. In 2018, Singer raised the bar even higher with the debut of its Dynamics & Lightweighting Study program — ultra-high-performance “Reimagined” 911s developed in partnership with Williams Advanced Engineering. And while the DLS program has already yielded some wildly-impressive builds, Singer’s latest DLS project is almost certainly its most noteworthy to date.

Built by Singer’s UK team, the Naples Commission is a LHD 964-gen 911 that sports a custom full carbon widebody kit that leaves the construction’s matte-finished weave on full display. The build benefits from a full aerodynamics study that used Computational Fluid Dynamics modeling to create the Reimagined 911’s bodywork and rear ducktail spoiler. Contrasting the exposed carbon is a set of lime green center-locking Fuchs-inspired magnesium wheels, plus matching lime green “Porsche graphics.”

The fully bespoke interior of the car continues the carbon and lime green scheme, with carbon fiber seats, a carbon shift knob, carbon center console, carbon door sills, and a carbon steering wheel, all juxtaposed via hand-woven suede and leather lime green seats. Powering the Naples Commission is a naturally aspirated, air-cooled 4.0-liter flat-six with titanium valves, a magnesium fan-equipped cooling system, and rear quarter window-fed ram-air intakes. Sending power to the car’s rear wheels is a magnesium-cased six-speed manual transmission. Cloaked in custom carbon fiber covers, the engine — which is good for around 500hp — has also been positioned slightly further forward in the chassis in a bid to optimize the 964’s weight distribution.

As per usual, the Naples Commission was already spoken for before work on the build even began, though the extraordinary attention to detail on display coupled with the DLS-spec 911’s performance capabilities make us extremely excited to see what the shop whips up next.
